(Luke 6:45)
”A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

Every true change begins in the heart; it cannot be faked or assumed. Our opening scripture today says that a good man brings out good things out of the good treasure of his heart. This implies that for right thoughts and words to constantly proceed from you, you must first fill your heart with right thoughts and right words. And what could be more right, pure and true than the Word of God? (Psalm 119:140).

Your responsibility as a believer who seeks to possess the mind of Christ, is to avail yourself of every opportunity listen to, study and meditate on the Word of God, because without filling your heart with God’s Word consistently, there is no chance that you can grow up to become like Him (1Pet. 2:2).

Therefore, get God’s Word in every available format and develop the habit of filling your heart with them in your car, at home, and everywhere else. By this, you would root out every contrary thought and words from your heart as God’s Word will begin to flow unhindered through you. Amen!

77% of its population is unreached with the Gospel of Christ with Islam as the major religion. An infant Somali Church is emerging amid great tribulation. Somali Christians are despised and heavily persecuted, even martyred, but are also growing in faith and in vision.

🙏🏽We are praying that the Christians in the land will be strengthened to hold on to their faith and not give up despite the persecution.

Dear Father, help me to put knowing you as priority in my life in Jesus name.

♦ PRAYER FOR JERUSALEM
Father I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (ps 122;6)

Dear Father, I am grateful for the gift of a new month in the year 2018 and for being my shield, my fortress and exceeding great reward. I rededicate my whole self to you today: body, soul and spirit. Let your word be true in my life as you lead me into the fulfilment of all your promises in Jesus Name. Amen.
