“To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.”

In preparing for thanksgiving, you must plan to tell of God’s goodness. It is of no use keeping to yourself what God has done for you. We see in our text today how that David set his heart to keep himself busy with talking about God’s goodness and faithfulness all day long. This is an important element in thanksgiving.

Do not think that your testimony is insignificant. No, it’s not! It is so potent, it can save a life! The testimonies of Andrew and Philip brought their brothers to Jesus (John 1:40-46), that of the Samaritan woman saved an entire city (John 4). Glory to God!

Your thanksgiving would not be complete until you testify of God’s goodness. Plan to step out in the congregation and share your testimony; tell someone about His loving kindness and faithfulness as you go about your business and assignment today. In so doing, you would strengthen the faith of another believer and perfect your own testimony. Glory to God!
