“Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;”

Today offers another opportunity to take a retrospective glance at 2017. For all the challenges and difficult times, God stood with you and you made it thus far. Thus the psalmist instructs us in our text today to remember God’s marvellous works, for it is when we bring to remembrance all that he has done, that we can give Him the praise and thanks due to His Name.

Therefore, spend time today taking stock of all that God has done for you this year. Count your blessings in the company of your family, friends and loved ones, and give God thanks for all He has done. Be grateful even for each and every inch of progress. Glory to God!

Most importantly, let the New Year meet you in God’s Presence. Let nothing other than God be your preoccupation when the final days of the year 2017 would count. Hallelujah!
