(Isaiah 63:7)
“I will mention the loving kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.”

The benevolence of God is overwhelming; our text today expresses that. From the air we breathe, the life we live, to the provisions that we enjoy both in this life and in the spirit (2Pet. 1:3), no one can contest that we owe God even our very lives!

True gratitude is built upon the understanding that God is the Source of all that we have received. It is a deep-seated resolution to lavish praise on the God of all goodness for every success we achieve, rather than ascribing undue praise and honour to our own intelligence, creativity, wealth, skills etc.

This month, be ready to learn and put on the attitude of gratitude which would automate the cycle of God’s blessings upon your life. Never stop bringing to remembrance and mentioning all His blessings in your life, until thanksgiving becomes the life that you live. Glory to God!
