(Exodus 13:12)
“That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD'S.”

There is a huge difference between what you chose to give to God and what He expressly demands of you. One is based on your estimation or assumption, the other is based purely on His pleasure. One such oblation in the latter category is firstfruits.
As an art of honour unto the Lord, the first part of your increase is to be offered unto God (Prov. 3:9). Our text today shows us how that we must set it apart; in other words, you are to consciously do it, knowing that it is a sacred covenant which opens you up to plenty. Glory to God!
Always remember to celebrate God with a portion of your first increase or income. First set it aside and take time out to offer it unto Him in your privacy with praise and thanksgiving, and then lay it upon His Altar. As you honour God this way, He will preserve the rest and cause you to walk in prosperity always. Say Amen to that!

🙏🏽We are praying that the Gospel of Christ will prevail in Libya.

Dear Father, I thank you for this new day and for the privilege to see the tenth month of this year. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you today; work in me that which is well pleasing in your sight and make me a vessel fit for your use today in Jesus Name. Amen.
