📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT
(1 Chronicles 15:13)
“For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.”

Something very significant is to be learnt from our opening scripture for today regarding our conduct and manner of approach to things that pertain to God. Previously, in 1 Chronicle 13:9, while the Ark of the Covenant was being transported, it stumbled and nearly fell, but Uzzah in ignorance reached out to hold it, and he died. Oh yes! He died trying to help God!
Service to God is only acceptable to Him when it is done after the due order (Matt. 15:8), offerings only attract His blessings when given according to His ordained pattern (Mal. 1). Thus, a man who seeks to serve and secure the favour of God must first study God’s Word to know His Will (2Tim. 2:15), so that he may pattern His service or offering according to the precepts of God.
Therefore, devote more time to studying the Word of God today, seeking out the acceptable ways of doing service to Him. By doing things just as God prescribes, you would begin to experience the fulfilment of all His promises and have no regret. Amen!

Libya is an Islamic nation with over 70% unreached with the Gospel. The Christian community is growing, but the Protestants and Independent groups which are more active in faith and practice are fewer compared to the nominal ones. There is high demand for pastoral care across the denominations.
🙏🏽We are praying for revival in the churches in Libya.

Dear Father, help me lord to devout more time to studying of the word in Jesus name.

Dear Father, I thank you for this new day and for the privilege to see the tenth month of this year. I ascribe all glory, honour and praise to your holy name and acknowledge that you are the Source of all that I have and all that I am. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you today; work in me that which is well pleasing in your sight and make me a vessel fit for your use today in Jesus Name. Amen.
