The believer who seeks to sanctify himself to the Lord must always be keen to know the mind of God on every issue so that he may make decisions that are pleasing to God. This is why King David in our scriptural text for today seeks the Lord in prayer, asking to know His ways and His paths, and you too need to discover the will of God today.
To discover is to find out information that was previously unknown. It is to find out something after a search; to notice, to ascertain and to discern. It is vital to first discover the will of God about a situation, a desire or need before we draw out any plan for implementation.
Today, you too can discover God’s will for your marriage, business or ministry in the place of prayer. Set out time to seek the Lord regarding your present state or a project you are considering for implementation, asking to know His will. Surely, the Spirit of God will lead you in His Word and speak to your heart that which is His perfect will for you. Halleluyah!
