“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

Does a farmer weed and water his tender plants because his hobby is watering plants. No! He does it tenaciously because he sees in that tender plant the future harvest and the seed for more bountiful harvest. God too isn’t just blessing you just to bless you. He sees in you the potential of a soulwinner; one who would use his gifting and blessings to draw more souls into His Kingdom.
Yet, many believers deploy all their skills, energy and resources towards everything else other than soulwinning, forgetting that what would really count in the end is not the number or amount of earthly things you acquire but the number of souls that found Christ through you.
How has the blessing of God in your life attracted a soul to Jesus? How has your money, influence, skills and status drawn or planted more souls in God’s Kingdom? Dedicate your skills and earthly blessings towards soulwinning today, because they are wise who turn many unto righteousness, and they will shine as the stars forever (Dan. 12:3). Halleluyah!
