BE PROMPT TO OBEY

📜 SCRIPTURAL TEXT
(Genesis 22:3)
“And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.”

The plan and purposes of God also are crafted in time. It would be wise of us therefore to be prompt in carrying out His instructions so we would not miss out on the favours He has set in time for us.
We can learn a great deal from the example of Abraham who God had asked to sacrifice his only son unto Him. And though God did not tell him the exact time to sacrifice, the Bible records that Abraham arose early the next morning to do what was instructed. God must have marvelled at his promptness and time-consciousness.
Procrastination should have no place in you. When God speaks to you about a matter, set out to obey Him without delay. He has a favour awaiting you in time, and your prompt obedience to His voice would lead you straight into it. Are there outstanding tasks on your table? Resolve them now. Make up your mind to be prompt in doing whatever God would tell you to do today. Halleluyah!

Libya is an Islamic nation with over 70% unreached with the Gospel. The Christian community is growing, but the Protestants and Independent groups which are more active in faith and practice are fewer compared to the nominal ones. There is high demand for pastoral care across the denominations.
🙏🏽We are praying for the nominal Christians in Libya that they will burn with a passion for the lost.

Dear Father, help me to be prompt to obey your every word in Jesus name.

Dear Father, I thank you for this new day and for the privilege to see the tenth month of this year. I ascribe all glory, honour and praise to your holy name and acknowledge that you are the Source of all that I have and all that I am. I consecrate my whole body, soul and spirit to you today; work in me that which is well pleasing in your sight and make me a vessel fit for your use today in Jesus Name. Amen.
